Cuil Cottage in the village of Minard, Argyll lies in the West of Scotland. The village is situated part way down Loch Fyne South from Inveraray. It is the ideal romantic touring based to see the fantastic scenery with the Loch Fyne shoreline within 250 meters. There is a local shop around the corner and the community slip for launching boats is just across the road.

As dog owners, we know how important it is to have our furry friends join us on holiday, they are part of the family after all. We just ask you to notify us on booking.
There are many activities within easy reach and the cottage is an ideal base for walking, cycling, golf, bird watching,fishing and chilling out. It is also excellently placed for exploring the Highlands and its many castles, gardens and whiskey distilleries.

We also have a stone outbuilding, which is ideal for leaving your bikes locked in the dry and any diving and walking/climbing gear. There is off road parking for two cars or a boat trailer.

Nearby Attractions

Some of the nearby attractions include Inveraray Jail and Castle, Crinan Canel and Oban is within a hour and 15 minutes drive. The Gateway to the Isles where the ferries leave to go to Mull and Iona. Also the famous the Loch Lomond and "Rest and be thankful" pass is within an easy drive. Nearby is the marvelous countryside and coastline with the wildlife of red deer to soaring eagles in the sky. Cararae Gardens is at the end of the village with its amazing 50 acres of woodland gardens.This ideal central location lets you enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside and outdoor activities.
